New McDonald’s store opens in Flagstone
Peet’s Flagstone community in Jimboomba Queensland has celebrated the opening of a McDonald’s restaurant, bringing with it an exciting boost for the community and local economy.
The latest addition to the growth of what is already a really vibrant community, and generating over 90 jobs for Flagstonians, McDonald’s is giving residents further opportunities to live and work close to home. This adds to over 550 local jobs already created from other commercial industry in Flagstone, with employment opportunities for the next generation of Flagstonian youth increasing with McDonald’s giving students an opportunity to learn new skills and take part in longer-term traineeships.
With IGA, Dominos, BWS, Chemist Warehouse, Vet Love and Snap Fitness also now part of Flagstone and with Coles opening next year, it is becoming more and more evident every day that the long-term vision of this community is being brought to life.
