Introducing Millers Row
In 1863, early settler Moses Thomas constructed a steam-operated flour mill and neighbouring bluestone cottage on the western bank of the Plenty River, in what is now Plenty Gorge Park. It was the last of three flour mills to be built on the banks of the Plenty, and the largest.
Peet is recognising the contribution Moses Thomas and the other millers made to the area by naming its new residential development ‘Millers Row’. Destined to become a striking landmark in South Morang, Millers Row comprises 71 architecturally designed townhouses set amongst calm and landscaped streetscapes. Within the harmony of the overall design are distinct and different elevations, providing each home with its own personality. Each residence is also equipped with sustainable initiatives to help reduce power and water use.
South Morang has seen a lot of progress in the last 150 years. The flour mills have long gone, and the area has become a friendly, established community with a vibrant mix of cultures and amenity, just 25km from the Melbourne CBD. But Peet understands the importance of history and heritage. The company was founded in 1895, just 30 years after Moses Thomas built his flour mill, and has grown to become one of Australia’s leading residential developers. That’s experience you can trust.
Millers Row. Your future starts here.
