Harmony Day Long Table Lunch
Harmony Day celebrates Australia's cultural diversity, focusing on inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. Hilbert Park's Harmony Day Long Table Lunch had just that, with lovely weather and local musician Ozi bringing the tunes providing a great relaxed atmosphere.
Residents were encouraged to bring a place of food and stories from their home country to share with their neighbours. Top dishes included homemade butter chicken and scotch egg pie - yum!
A couple of recent purchasers were also in the area, and headed over to check out the event. They are due to start building in the coming weeks and were very pleased to get to know some of their new neighbours.
