NSW GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCEMENT: A BOON FOR GOOGONG BUYERS
Thursday, 14 June, 2012The NSW Government this week announced incentives for new home construction, and purchasers at Googong are well placed to capitalise on them.
First Home Buyers:
- Stamp Duty Concessions will continue for First Home Buyers under the NSW Government's First Home - New Home Scheme*, saving you an average of $7,000 per lot at Googong.
- Additionally, the NSW First Home Owners Grant (New Homes)* will provide a $15,000 bonus to First Home Buyers who enter into a construction contract with a builder after 1/10/12. (Land can be purchased separately any time before or after that date and still be able to qualify for the $15,000 bonus).*
- Googong is currently priced at 5-20% below a comparable lot in Canberra. It's one way we can reward you for becoming a foundation member of the Googong community.
Non First Home Buyers:
- Stamp Duty Concessions for non first home buyers will cease at the end of this month. But you can still qualify if you hurry - you'll need to exchange on 10% of the lot price before 30 June. The concessions will save you around $7,000 on an average Googong lot.
- From 1 July, the Stamp Duty Concessions will be replaced by a $5,000 New Home Grant Scheme*.
- Googong is currently priced at 5-20% below a comparable lot in Canberra. It's one way we can reward you for becoming a foundation member of the Googong community.
We currently have lots available for sale (sizes range from 492m2 - 840m2, average 633m2; prices range from $221,000 to $305,000, average $255,000).
So whether you are a First Home Buyer or a second home buyer, there is simply no better time and no better place to buy, than at Googong. Contact us to discuss this opportunity further, email enquiries@googong.net or phone 02 6230 0800.
