Now's your chance to talk trends with Australia's best-loved interior design expert, Tara Dennis at Googong's Beltana Park! Tara's design trends workshop will give you great tips on how to incorporate the latest colours, fabrics, décor, and paint finishes into your home, showcasing IKEA's fantastic, funky fabrics and furnishings.

In the afternoon, Tara will host a panel featuring some of Canberra's best and brighest architects and interior designers, who will be on hand after the panel to answer your questions. The panel will discuss three challenging design issues:

1. Sustainable design: How important is sustainable design and what does sustainability mean to an architect and interior designer?
2. Clashing tastes: What to do when you and your partner have differing opinions on style.
3. Old to new: How to freshed up your old furnishings and decorations, when you are moving into a new, modern home.
4. Nesting for couples: Choosing the right pieces to ensure you're saving money and enjoying the space you and your partner share.
