Shorehaven Community Fan Day in partnership with the Perth Scorchers!

Join us for FREE family fun as Shorehaven Alkimos hosts the second of four Peet Community Fan Days, in partnership with the Perth Scorchers.

Additional spots for the Federal Government’s First Home Loan Deposit Scheme (FHLDS) have just been released!
Usually first home buyers with less than a 20% deposit will need to pay lenders mortgage insurance. Under the Scheme, eligible first home buyers can purchase with a deposit of as little as 5% (lenders criteria apply). This is because the National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation (NHFIC) guarantees to provide participating lenders up to 15% of the value of the property purchased!
The new release of places in the scheme came into effect on 1st July 2020. This can be used ON TOP of the government HomeBuilder grant, state government building bonus AND First Home Buyers Grant!
The announcement means you may not require as big of a deposit as you first thought. Hurry, there's only 10,000 spaces available until 31st December 2020! Check out if you're eligible below.
Build and Save up to $55,000* towards your new home!

WA Premier Mark McGowan has just announced a further $20,000 Building Bonus between June 4, 2020 and Dec 31, 2020 to build a home.
This is on top of the $25,000* federal HomeBuilder grant that was announced on June 4 2020 as well as the $10,000* First Home Owners Grant. So, Western Australians who are eligible for the Commonwealth HomeBuilder grant could receive up to $55,000* in bonuses!
Plus – if you’re a first homebuyer:
- With the WA Stamp Duty Concessions, that means you could qualify for up to a HUGE $69,440* in benefits!
- And, if you need to borrow over 80% of your property value, you can apply for the First Home Loan Deposit Scheme and avoid paying Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI).

Peet Welcomes HomeBuilder Grant

The Federal Government has revealed its HomeBuilders scheme which will provide $25,000 to eligible Australians to build or renovate their home.
What is it? The new grant will give Australian home buyers access to a $25,000 grant to go towards the cost of building a new home up to the value of $750,000, or to assist with renovations of between $150,000 and $750,000.*
What does this mean? If you’ve been planning on building or renovating your home, now is the time to do so! Imagine how a $25,000 grant could help with your new home purchase. The grant comes into effect immediately and is available to couples with a combined income of less than $200,000 per year and individuals earning less than $125,000 per year.
Why now? The HomeBuilder is available for a limited time, so if you’ve been considering purchasing a new home, it is the perfect time to start that process now. HomeBuilder requires contracts to be signed between 4 June 2020 and 31 December 2020, and construction to commence within three months of the contract signing.

The Federal Government’s First Home Loan Deposit Scheme has come into effect!
The scheme aims to help eligible first home buyers on low and middle incomes gain a foothold in the property market. They now only need to have a minimum 5% deposit and won’t be charged Lenders Mortgage Insurance, with the National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation (NHFIC) providing a guarantee for the rest!

Thousands of kids and their families enjoyed the second annual Cubby Town event at Yanchep National Park! On Saturday 28th April, children of all ages built cubbies out of nature based materials, created nature crafts provided by Yanchep Golf Estate, and enjoyed a fantastic day engaging with outdoor play.

Congratulations Kiera on winning our Cubby Town competition!

Kiera of Nollamara was the lucky winner of a $250 Gift Card after she entered our Cubby Town competition at Yanchep National Park over the weekend. When asked what she would enjoy about potentially living next door to the National Park every day she answered "It would be beautiful to be in the fresh air and near the cute animals." Yanchep Lawn Bowls Club is ready to roll this Spring

The Yanchep Bowling Club, located just up the road from the estate on Yanchep Beach Road has an active social calendar, and are always looking for new members. The sponsorship funds will be used to install new shade greens. The Bowling Club's President, Leon Smith said "The installation of the shade greens means we can continue to play our competitions at a club we love to play for. The best is yet to come for Yanchep Golf Estate, with our next exciting new park on the horizon. The future park will offer two hectares of space to enjoy, featuring a number of retained mature trees, a spacious kick-about area, picnic seating, a shaded nature playground, barbecue facilities and flying fox.
