Residents Catch Up At A Dog’s Breakfast
A Dog’s Breakfast was a great success, with perfect weather, 50 residents in attendance and at least 25 dogs!
Some people went to great efforts to dress their dogs, so they were looking very cute for the event!
West Coast Vets offered advice and discounted microchipping to all residents. They also donated a $50 voucher for the best dressed dog competition, with the winners being decided by popular acclaim. There were also second and third prizes which included a bag of doggie goodies and a $20 Bunnings voucher.
City Farmers Dog Wash attended and offered cheap dog washes, local Forrestdale coffee roasters Backyard Coffee brought the coffee down and offered three different bean varieties for people to sample as well as hot chocolate and residents organised to bring their Tupperware display and homemade soaps and candles which were for sale, this all added to the great vibe of the morning!
The barbeque was flat out and with a good mix of regulars and first time attenders, there was a really great community vibe.
