Wungong Urban Redevelopment

The Avenue lies within the 1,580ha Metropolitan Regional Development (MRA) Wungong Urban area – the largest single masterplanned residential development project in WA which will deliver new homes for more than 40,000 people.

This bold redevelopment plan is being driven and funded by the State Government (working closely with state and local agencies to protect the natural environment) and will serve as a model to guide sensitive development in WA and nationally.

In addition, there has been a decade of sustained state and local government investment in social and economic infrastructure in the region with more major investments in public and private sector facilities planned.
