Movida Estate Wiluna Park

Wiluna Park

Movida's Wiluna Park features a shaded picnic area, soccer goals and a kickabout area, a brand new nature playground including a climbing tower, bridge, slide and swings, stepping stumps and boulders with red brick inlays as a nod to Midland's heritage.
 
Located on Wiluna Street, Wiluna Park spans 4,900sqm and is the first of eight public open spaces planned for Movida Estate.

John Forrest National Park

Movida Estate is lucky to feature John Forrest National Park as its stunning backdrop, just 10 minutes' drive away.
 
With two waterfalls, beautiful wildflowers and hundreds of species of animals including 10 native mammal and 91 bird, John Forrest has long been favoured as a site for a day-trip from Perth and being a starting point for many walk trails.
 
There are outstanding views from the lookout point on the scenic drive and a wide variety of attractions and facilities that make it a popular venue for families and groups.

Woodbridge Riverside Park and Play Space

Less than 5km from Movida Estate, Woodbridge Riverside Park is located on the banks of the Swan River and complete with playground equipment and picnic facilities.
 
The Play Space is a very popular spot for families to attend, with multiple play zones featuring inspiring, engaging and physical play for all ages and abilities. The John George walk trail alongside the Swan River and a separate cycle path, links this park with Reg Bond Reserve. These two areas combine to form the Swan Regional Riverside Park.

Woodbridge Riverside Parkrun

Woodbridge Riverside parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners and walkers of any age and level, which takes place every Saturday at 8am.

People of all ages and levels are welcome. You just need to register on the parkrun website before you start! Kids are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.

Mundaring Weir

The amazing feat that is the Mundaring Weir is a popular visitor destination and picnic area. Enjoy great views from the north side of the dam wall, walk across the wall, or picnic on the south side.  
 
Facilities include accessible toilets, water, picnic shelters, gas barbeques, sculptures and children's play area.  You can also learn about the history of the dam with interactive information at strategic points.

Walk the Bibbulmun Track

The Bibbulmun Track is one of the world’s great long distance walk trails, stretching 1000km from Kalamunda in the Perth Hills, to Albany on the south coast, winding through the heart of the scenic South West of Western Australia.
 
The Track takes walkers through towering karri and tingle forests, down mist-shrouded valleys, over giant granite boulders and along breathtaking coastal heathlands. It passes through many of the most beautiful national parks of the south west forests and coastline.

Lake Leschenaultia is a 168 hectare bushland well-known for its canoeing, swimming, cycling and barbeque facilities.

The Lake is the perfect spot for a family outing with cool shaded areas, lawns, white sand beaches and playground equipment. Shelters and lawn areas can be hired for exclusive use. There is an abundance of native flora and fauna to appreciate, including kangaroos, possums, bandicoots and echidnas roaming the surrounding bush.

Midvale Junior Football Club

Midvale Junior Football Club is an integral part of the local sporting community, and proud of their former players successes including Nicholas Naitanui, Jarrad Blight, Chris Yarran, Michael Walters, David Ellard, Jeff Garlett, Lance Daly, Harlee Fryer,  and Yestin Eades.  
 
The Club is always looking for new members, girls and boys from 3 years and above. They seek to develop all players skills and abilities, creating a fun experience for all, and also runs an All Abilities Clinic for kids with disabilities.
