Community
Tarneit is one of Melbourne’s fastest growing suburbs, so life in your new community is sure to keep you busy! Whether you’re looking for shopping and entertainment, schools and childcare, or a sports team to cheer for, you’ll find all this close to your new home at Newhaven.
A community where your family can thrive
Families need room to grow, as well as access to schools, shops and outdoor space.
Check out an article by Realestate.com.au that features the Newhaven community as not only an ideal place to build an affordable and spacious home, but one that is surrounded by everything that your family will need.
Jump your heart out at Newhaven!
Jump into the fun at Newhaven's Jumping Pillow!
It's big, bouncy and best of all... it's free.
Plus, you're just a hop, skip and jump away from Navigation Park.
Education and Childcare
In addition to a future public primary school and Early Learning Centre within Newhaven itself,^ there are also plenty of public and private schools already established in Tarneit. These include Tarneit College (P-9) and Tarneit Senior College on Leakes Road at Peet’s Tarneit Gardens community, Tarneit Rise Primary in yet another Peet community, St John the Apostle School, and the Islamic College of Melbourne.
If the kids aren't quite ready for school yet, there are several childcare centres to choose from in Tarneit, including Aspire Tarneit North, which is right across the road from Newhaven!
Parks and Playgrounds
At Newhaven we've included not one, not two, but three awesome parks, and each space is custom designed for a unique, state-of-the-art adventure.
Our 'experts in fun' Mamma Knows West have joined Peet exclusively to create playgrounds that both kids and parents will love.
Plus, you don't have to wait to play - Navigation Park and Universal Road Park are both open for fun today!
Shopping
Popping to the shops is easy at Newhaven with a Coles, Woolworths and Aldi, all just a short drive from home. Or, you can shop ‘til you drop at Pacific Werribee, just a 12 minute drive away. Newhaven’s masterplan also now includes a proposed future town centre.^
