Transport and Connections

Cornerstone is located 40 kilometres from Melbourne's CBD with easy access to the city by road and rail.

Wyndham Vale Train Station is just four kilometres from Cornerstone, just a short six minute drive along Armstrong Road. The train service will get you to Southern Cross Station in just 37 minutes.
 
Geelong is 47 kilometres from Cornerstone, and is also easily reached by road and rail.  The train from Wyndham Vale Station to Geelong Station takes just 26 minutes.

Train travel made easy

Wyndham Vale Train Station is an easy six minute drive along Armstrong Road, with services to both Melbourne and Geelong.  Werribee Train Station is another option, just a 13 minute drive from Cornerstone, taking you into the Melbourne CBD via Newport, Yarraville and Footscray.

A growing community

Land close to Cornerstone has been earmarked for a proposed future train station as part of the Black Forest Road North Precinct Structure Plan*. A future town centre has also been proposed. 

By bus and by car

Take the nearby 192 bus route to Wyndham Vale and Werribee Train Stations.

If travelling by car, jump on the nearby Princes Freeway to get to the city. Or for a weekend adventure, drive to Geelong in just 45 minutes, or the Surf Coast in an hour, via the Princes Freeway.

The great outdoors

You can lace up your hiking boots to explore the You Yangs Regional Park, a beautiful spot for bushwalking, mountain biking and rock climbing that’s just over half an hour away from Cornerstone.
 
Rather catch a wave or relax on the sand over the weekend?  The Surf Coast is less than an hour away from Cornerstone, so hitting the beach is a breeze.
