Work is set to commence on the first phase of stage 5 at Golden Bay, which will initially provide 88 new homes and almost four hectares of natural and re-vegetated coastal land and public open space.

A 37-metre high dune - the tallest in Golden Bay - is being retained and preserved.

Earthworks are set to start this month, with civil works due to commence in Spring.
