Water Play Park Opens with a Splash!

The Flagstone Water Play Park opened with a splash just in time for Christmas. Around 3,000 lucky people from near and far cooled off on a hot day, enjoying the innovative 10m climbable treehouse, tree-shaped waterfalls, jets, blasters, and bubblers. There was a DJ, food trucks, giveaways…even an Aussie Santa thanks to the 97.3 FM street team. The fun-filled afternoon also featured performances and all-ages workshops by the renowned Flipside Circus and a trapeze available for children to try plus the world-famous Dead Puppet Society and their interactive mechanical pelicans, used in the making of Storm Boy.
