Halloween Trail & Best Dressed Competition

 

Flagstonians...31 October is the time to dress up and door-knock neighbours enjoying the festivities of Halloween. Will they trick or treat? Be sure to access the Flagstone Halloween Trail map which shows the addresses of the homes that are participating this year. 
 
Flagstone Community Association in partnership with local business, Use Your Own Imagination Designs, will run a scavenger hunt as part of the trail.
 
COVID-19 tips for Halloween Trick or Treat:
  • Social distance when visiting households
  • Take hand sanitiser to use after each door visit
  • Only provide treats that are individually wrapped, encourage lolly trail for kids to pick them up themselves
  • Only accept individually wrapped items, don't encourage kits to place hands into a bowl of lollies and help themselves.

Best Dressed Competition

To reward the effort of dressing up and taking to the streets, Flagstone Community Association - sponsored by Peet Flagstone - are running a Best Dressed Competition. Just take a selfie in front of the Halloween decorations at the Flagstone Community Centre and upload the image for judging.

The first 100 to pre-register via the FCA website by 5pm on 30 October, will receive a special goodie bag on Halloween at the centre, provided you show for your photo by 7pm.

Best dressed categories are 0-5 years, 6-10 years, 11-17 years and 18+. $30 for first place and $20 to second place across all categories.
