New Flagstone childcare centre under construction

Work is underway on a new childcare centre in the Flagstone masterplanned city south of Brisbane.

Construction has started on a 126-place early learning centre on the corner of Homestead Drive and Wild Mint Drive in Peet Limited and industry superannuation giant MTAA Super $6.7 billion community.

It will be tenanted by Imagine Education that will open next year. The 958sqm $10 million childcare centre on a 3570sqm site is one of a number of retail and commercial sites that are being developed in Flagstone’s first business precinct.

Imagine Education chief executive Bill Adler said Flagstone was a perfect fit for the company’s growing network of preschool education facilities.

“With the forecast of nearly 50,000 dwellings and a future population of up to 120,000 people, it made perfect sense for Flagstone to be one of our next locations,” he said.

Appeared in The Courier Mail, 20th July 2018.
