Bubble Soccer
We are exited to bring Flagstone aged students an activity that will allow them to get outside these school holidays. Bubble Soccer will be hosted by Zoccer Sports Pty Ltd, allows the kids to get outside kick a ball around in social distancing bubble suits!
WHEN: Monday 6 July 2020
WHERE: Flagstone Football Oval, Flagstonian Drive, Flagstone
TIME: Two sessions (Session 1, 1pm to 2pm & Session 2, 2.30pm to 3.30pm)
Booking is essential, maximum 18 participants per session, school aged students. Due to the COVID-19 rules and regulations, everyone in attendance must have a ticket to ensure capacity is not exceeded. Participants are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes prior to session. Parents welcome to drop off and collect at entrance.
HOW TO BOOK
To book your space email info@zoccersports.com.au, with "FLAGSTONE - BUBBLE SOCCER" in the subject line, please advise how many participants you are booking for and age range. Depending on numbers we may have a younger and older sessions. Organisers will send you a confirmation if you secured a spot. You will be sent waivers, game rules and information sheets to read and complete prior to participating.
Please note you will not be able to participate if you are unwell or in the past 14 days been in contact with any confirmed/suspected COVID-19 cases or traveled internationally you are not to attend. Thank you for your understanding.
Bubble Soccer will be played according to the referee’s interpretation of the rules. It is the team captain’s responsibility to make sure that their players know the rules, and keeps their teams in check.
TEAMS & GAME LENGTH
Teams are made up of 5 people per side.
Captains will be chosen and teams selected with a coin toss.
We play 5 minute games, this may not sound like long but it’s the perfect game time to maximise the fun and
energy levels.
GAME RULES
- Kick-Off – The ball will be placed in the centre of the court while teams line up facing each other along the
opposing goal line. The game starts with the blow of a whistle;; teams may run to the ball for possession.
There will be a kick-off after every goal. - Whistle - When the whistle is blown, the game must stop immediately. And Starts again once the whistle is
blown again. - Fouls – If a player is unexpectedly tackled from behind, a foul can be called by the referee or individual
fouled. There can be a contention of the foul called. If the foul is found valid, there will be a 60 seconds
timeout. Referee has final say. - Kick-Ins– All kick-ins are from the sideline when the ball goes out, kicked back in from the none offending
team. The kicker must have both feet outside the pitch when the ball is kicked. There must be a gap of 5 feet
from where the ball is kicked in. - Corner Kicks– awarded to attacking team when a defender causes the ball to go out of bounds over the
goal line. - Free Kicks– Free kicks are given at the discretion of the referee for foul play or if the ball gets stuck under a
fallen player. Opposition must be 10 feet away from where the kick is being taken. - Goalie - There is no designated Goal Keeper. If you wish to have one of your team members stay in front of
the goals, this is acceptable. - Ball-In Bubble – If the ball enters a bubble, play will stop and will restart with a kick-off.
- Offside– no offside rules apply.
GAME INPLAY
- Players MUST keep both hands on the handles in the bubble suit during gameplay at all times
- Bubble handles should ALWAYS sit at shoulder height (no lifting)
- Players CANNOT leave their feet when hitting other players (no diving)
- Players MUST NOT bump other players outside the court, not in a bubble, on the ground or trying to get up.
- Contact can ONLY be made if a player is going after the ball.
- Watchout for spectators and the referee! (Hitting anyone not in a bubble is an instant SENDING OFF.
- Subs are to change over as quickly as possible but notifying the referee.
- NO coordinated rough impact charging, particularly from long distances or by jumping into each other.
- NO bumping when play is stopped.
- DON’T bump a player exiting a Bubble suit, this can cause serious injury.
- NO rolling on your head or tip others on their head.
- NO Kicking
- Bubbles will be inflated by the instructor if you’re concerned or you think your bubble is deflating please notify the event coordinator
- UNNECESSARY ROUGHNESS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED
